Viviane Pereira Replaces Heather Jo Clark, Faces MIZUKI at Invicta FC 32

Kansas City, Mo.ย โ€”ย The fight card for Invicta Fighting Championships 32 has undergone some changes.

Japanese strawweight MIZUKI (12-5) will no longer square off with UFC veteran Heather Jo Clark (8-6), as Clark has been forced off the card. Stepping in for Clark is another UFC veteran, Brazil’sย Viviane Pereira (13-2). “Sucuri” holds wins over former UFC title challengerย Valerie Letourneau and current UFC fighterย Poliana Botelho.

An opponent for GLORY Kickboxing veteran Isis Verbeek (0-0) has been secured as Colorado strawweightย Kathryn Paprocki (1-0) will make her promotional debut against the Dutch fighter.

Also, a bantamweight bout will kick off the night’s action as California’s Chelsea Chandler (0-1) returns to the Invicta cage to welcome undefeated Oklahoman Mitzi Merry (2-0) to the promotion. Chandler made her professional debut at Invicta FC 28, while both of Merry’s victories have come via submission.

Invicta FC 32 takes place from the FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Okla., on Friday, Nov. 16.ย The event will stream live on UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m CT. The event is headlined by aย featherweight title fight featuring undefeated Felicia Spencer (5-0) and veteran Pam Sorenson (7-2).

Janaisa Morandin vs. Virna Jandiroba Title Fight Headlines Invicta FC 28 on March 24

Kansas City, Mo.ย โ€” Invicta Fighting Championships is heading to Utah.

The promotion’s 28th event will take place Saturday, March 24 from the Union Event Center in Salt Lake City. The card willย stream live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass at 6 p.m. MT.

In the night’s main event, Braziliansย Janaisa Morandin (10-1) and Virna Jandiroba (12-0) clash for the strawweight title. Morandin made her Invicta debut in a “Fight of the Night” battle against former champion Livia Renata Souza last August and followed it up with dominant win over Kinberly Novaes at Invicta FC 26 in December.ย Jandiroba also impressed in her first bout with the promotion, submitting veteran Amy Montenegro in the first round via armbar.

The co-main event features the return of Japanโ€™s MIZUKI (12-4) against UFC veteran Milana Dudieva (11-7). The 23-year-old MIZUKI enters the contest having won four straight, including a second-round armbar finish of Lynn Alvarez in her most recent Invicta appearance. Dudieva will be making her third appearance inside the Invicta cage, but this will be her first bout in the strawweight division.

UFC veteran DeAnna Bennett (8-3-1) rejoins the promotion to take on Mexico’s Karina Rodrรญguez (6-2). Bennett, a former strawweight title challenger, fought to a draw against Melinda Fabian in December. Rodrรญguez has earned back-to-back wins over Bรกrbara Acioly and Christine Ferea since joining the promotion last summer.

Also on the card, undefeated strawweight Kali Robbins (5-0) takes on UFC veteran Pearl Gonzalez (6-3), Finland’sย Minna Grusander (5-1) meets fellow atomweight newcomerย Fernanda Priscila (3-1) of Brazil, Kal Schwartz faces a yet-to-be-named opponent in a strawweight affair, undefeated bantamweight Kerri Kenneson (2-0) ofย New Hampshire takes on the debuting Chelsea Chandler (0-0), andย Jillian DeCoursey (1-0) battlesย Rebekah Levine (1-0) at atomweight.

Kinberly Novaes Replaces MIZUKI, Invicta FC 26 Fight Card Complete

Kansas City, Mo.ย โ€” The fight card for Invicta Fighting Championships 26 has undergone a change to its co-main event and added an eighth bout.

Japanese strawweight MIZUKI (12-4) has been forced off the card and Brazilianย Kinberly Novaes (9-3) will step in to face her countrywomanย Janaisa Morandin (9-1). The 26-year-old Novaes is a former Pancrase title challenger who competes out ofย Joinville, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Four of her nine career victories have come via strikes.

As a result of the change, the strawweight contest between former title challengerย Kaline Medeirosย (8-5) and undefeated grappling stalwart Mackenzie Dern (4-0) has been elevated to co-main event status.

Completing the fight card will be a strawweight match-up between promotional newcomers Kay Hansen (0-0) and Emilee Prince (0-0). Both fighters will be making their professional debuts.

Invicta FC 26 takes place Friday, Dec. 8, from theย historic Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Mo. The event streams live and exclusively on UFC Fight Pass at 7 p.m. CT. It will be headlined by a flyweight title clash betweenย champion Jennifer Maia (14-4-1) and undefeated Polish fighter Aga Niedลบwiedลบ (10-0).
